Nokia Saying Goodbye Recently To Symbian

In October of last year Nokia announced that they would no longer provide support to developers to update and add new content to the catalog of applications, games and themes for Symbian and MeeGo on December 1, 2014. The first day of 2014 has been passed, now Ovi Store does not accept applications again. Nokia itself through the official Twitter account Symbian Signed Team (@ SymbianSigned) 2 on Twitter yesterday:

That was it; Officially we are closed. Thank you all for the past years!

Termination of this support means the Finnish vendor to stop publishing applications and support, so developers could not launch the application or update applications through the Ovi Store. The developer will still receive revenue from their applications. The entire existing applications in the Ovi Store also still available for download.
