Official launch date of BBM on Android and iPhone

BlackBerry officially announced the availability of applications on BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) in Android and iPhone on Wednesday (09/18/2013).

BBM cross-platform applications can be downloaded and used for free by Android and iPhone smartphone users starting on 21 September 2013.

BBM application can run on the iPhone with the iOS operating system version 6/7 or the Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean (Android 4.x).

Android and iPhone users can use BBM to send text messages, photos, voice notes, and create a discussion group contains 30 contacts.

BlackBerry claims, fuel is now used by 60 million monthly active users. More than 51 million people use BBM, an average of 90 minutes per day. Every day, there are 10 billion messages sent and received fuel customers. BlackBerry claims, this number twice as many of the messages sent and received another instant messaging application.
