Workshop Philips Remind Importance of Energy Saving Lamps
JIMBARAN - In order to make that 'City of Light Save Energy' in Bali, Indonesia in collaboration with Philips Engineering Faculty of Udayana University held a workshop for the students, on September 19. Workshop stubs "The use of LED lights for Building Design and City Planning Future Smart and Save Energy" provides an understanding of the importance of the use of LED lights.
In the workshop, explained the benefits of using LED lights. By using this technology, users can save up to 85 percent energy and light to hold up to 15 years. In addition, the small dimensions also make it easier to apply and set the lighting as needed.
Aries speaker Dwi Nugroho as Lighting Application & Solution Manager PT Philips Indonesia and Justin Rinaldi as Senior Lighting Designer, and Hadiprana as Design Consultant, also explains the need to share his knowledge of LED-based lighting technology.
This is done to instill in students the importance of awareness of saving energy and using eco-friendly lighting. In addition, the three speakers also explained the role of lighting in the construction and development of the city, LED-based lighting technology innovation, and energy efficient lighting.
This event is one of a series of program activities 'City of Light with Energy Efficient Philips LEDs' in Bali. The main event is the two lighting ceremony Balinese culture icons, Satria Gatot Kaca statue and the statue of Lord Ruci, by the Governor of Bali, I Made Mangku Pastika, Saturday, September 21 last.
