Samsung Flexible Display Smartphone Debut in October
Samsung has ensured ready to debut phones with flexible screens in October. This answers the issue that had previously been growing rapidly.
"We plan to introduce smartphones with bendable screens in October in South Korea later," said DJ Lee, Samsung's mobile business head of strategic marketing, as quoted from Cnet, Wednesday (09/25/2013).
Unfortunately it does not explain in detail what the future smartphone will be the first phone with the curved screen.
Previously, touted Samsung is preparing Galaxy Note 3 version of the flexible screen.
Galaxy Note 3 which uses Youm - the name of a flexible display made by Samsung - reportedly will be produced in limited.
A Korean media reported, the reason for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to produce a limited version Youm as flexible display technology itself is still 'baby'.
