Acting Head of Fiscal Policy Office Ministry of Finance Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro explained , mechanisms to curb the import duty can not be taken because of Indonesia signed the convention duty exemption for information technology products , including smartphones . However , control over the consumption of luxury sales do not violate the convention .
