Government Modernization Work System Constrained Cyber Crime

New York: The idea of ​​optimization of information and communication technology ( ICT ) to improve government services to the community actually began in 2003 through Presidential Instruction No. 3 of 2003 . But unfortunately , until now the government or digitizing work system called e -Government not running optimally .

According to the National Technology Officer of Microsoft Indonesia Tony Seno Hartono , not maximum utilization of ICT among government agencies is caused by many things . But the main one is the issue of information security acts of cyber crime .

" A security issue has actually been set up very well in the Law of Information and Electronic Transactions ( ITE ) . Only current implementation is not maximized . Consequently we are with the government and the police jointly build an integrated security system solutions , " said Tony in event press conference, Transformation & Information Security Indonesian Government on Wednesday ( 04/09/2013 ) , in Jakarta .

Currently the Indonesian government and Microsoft are running step by step process of a thorough transformation of ecosystems government agencies working system . Some of the early stages of such a quality site creation and training of human resources has been running since the beginning of 2012 .

In 2013 will be focused on efforts to improve the system security . The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (Communications ) itself had made a system called the Information Security Index will be used to monitor government sites which are still vulnerable to cyber attacks .

The results of this monitoring will be used as an evaluation of each agency to continue to improve their sites , assisted by the police to trace from where the cyber attack was launched .

" We expect the overall optimization of ICT in government agencies working system can be realized in 2025 . Thus it becomes very important sector of our security precedence to be addressed , " said the Director of Information Security Ministry of Communications and Information Bambang Heru Tjahjono on the same occasion .
