Many Indonesian Cellular customer complains Network Problems

JAKARTA - Ericsson ConsumerLab stated that the network issue is the most complained by cellular phone subscribers in Indonesia.

Ericsson ConsumerLab survey, the percentage of complaints regarding the network in Indonesia the figure is higher than the average in the other countries surveyed.

"From the survey results, 79 percent of respondents face network problems at least once a week and 52 percent said they faced similar problems at least a few times a day," said Regional Head of Ericsson ConsumerLab South East Asia and Oceania Afrizal Abdul Rahim on Wednesday.

Afrizal said the figure was above the average percentage of 12 countries surveyed, 61 percent said the problems facing the network at least once a week and 33 percent face network problems at least once a day.

According Afrizal, three problems that are often experienced smart phone users in Indonesia are lags or fails to open web pages, slow or failed to download content, and applications are often shut down unexpectedly.

"Network performance is a major factor in Indonesian customer satisfaction. Therefore, increase network performance can be a positive influence on customer loyalty," he said.

ConsumerLab Ericsson conducted a survey through online interviews with 1,000 smart phone users aged 18-64 years in 12 countries including Brazil, Chile, China, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States.
