Scientist: Human 6th Sense Really Exist
But, it's not the ability to see death.

The study reveals that humans are able to take advantage of one of the parts of his brain to determine the topography

The team of researchers from Utrecht University, the Netherlands, claiming that sixth sense in humans actually exist. But, it's not the ability to see the dead, but to count for something.

The study reveals that humans are able to take advantage of one of the parts of his brain to determine the topography, or describe in accurate and detailed of a region, the size, structure, and function.

"An example is the ability to determine the number of beans in the bowl or the number of cookies in a jar," said Benjamin Harvey, researchers from Utrecht University, reported by National Monitor, 10 September 2013.

Harney explains, part of the human sixth sense is working as the other five senses, which charted number in the brain and counting. The concept called numerosity.

"Different numerosity of symbolic numbers. Symbol numbers only representative, but numerosity more than that," said Harvey.

To reveal the ability of sixth sense that a team of researchers examined eight adults to see the patterns that point to the amount of variation from time to time. The researchers also saw nerves in the brain responses of each participant with a technique known as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

The result researchers found the human brain has the ability to determine the numerosity of the topographical layout. This suggests that the topography derived from human thinking ability.

"We are very excited association cortex in the brain is able to generate a topographic relief," said Harvey.

"We also believe numerosity abilities or sixth sense is much better than human beings in counting skills in mathematics," said Harvey.
