Network security firm Symantec had found a discrepancy of Facebook app specifically for Android. In his latest report, Symantec claims, the application can "pull" user cell phone numbers without permission.
"Mobile Insight automatically marked (flagged) Facebook application for Android because the phone numbers of the draw," wrote Symantec, as quoted from VR-Zone, on Friday (05/07/2013).
Worse yet, the system will automatically pull the data user's phone number even before he log in or entering the phone number into the application.
The first time you run this application, even before logging in, your phone number will be sent via the internet to the Facebook server, "said Symantec.
